Can Someone Do The Math For Me?

And NOT General Aesop! That tard pulls his numbers out of his arse!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

That’s $468k per annum on minimum wage in current dollars - assuming this meme is right. (I caution: I didn’t fact check this).

There is no way minimum wage would have allowed for that level of income in 1971.

Unless my Common Core edjyakashun fails me.

  1. 1971 gold ran from $37+ to $44+ depending on the day. Meme used cost of about $35. Gold currently is running around $5000. That 1.82 oz would be worth $9100 so the meme math is correct.

Of course gold pricing is manipulated just like fiat bux.

  2. Price of gold in 1971 was around $40, one week at 1.60 an hour equals $64. Gold today is $5000 an ounce, the math is there.

    1. I’m sure it is… but to say that minimum wage in 71 afforded a lifestyle of a person getting close to half a million dollars today…?

      Not a chance.
