I’m in trouble …with a debilitating case of cabin fever. I’m so bored - even with all my hobbies - that I’m doing recreational math. I’ve figured out (and proven!) that the older ya get and the slower you go, the faster time flies. Time slows as you approach relativistic velocities… and contracts as the fatter and lazier ya get. If ya slow beyond a certain threshold time blows by and ya run the risk of waking up dead like Tree Mike did! The walls of the Reclusium are papered with complex mathematical proofs and equations - I’ve worked it all out. I also mathematically discovered that yes you can push up on a rope, aliens are real, and the jews are responsible - for everything!!!
I need to go outside and play… preferably an overnighter… Take a gun, the skis, the dawg and a fart sack and some food, and sleep under the stars and enjoy a campfire. The problem is that my blood doesn’t run as hot and thick as it used to and I can’t handle the cold camping the way I did 20 years ago.
I’ve been playing with different heating options to sleep in the truck but I think I finally have the answer. Possibly with four solutions.
That’s the new breed of diesel heaters. They run off a portable battery like a Jackery. Ya fill it up with diesel, spark off the heater… and it pumps hot dry air into your tent or camper. It exhausts outside so there’s no condensation or fumes inside.
The first small diesels were noisy, smelly and unreliable pieces of Chinese junk. These new ones coming out are supposed to be game changers. They’re quiet, clean and well built from what I’m hearing.
I’d buy one right now but we’ve just been told - Fergus will be ready to move in with us next week. His biological mother now basically ignores the pups and they couldn’t care less. They’re eating solid food on their own, playing with their toys and are totally independent. They’re very sociable and curious about everything and everyone.
God willing this could be The Year Of The Stubfart. Let us all hope so! I think we’re off to a good start.
😊👍

I've been looking at getting a diesel heater as well. A buddy has 2 and is happy with both, though the older one was wider and the newer one being narrower he is concerned about knocking it over.
