From observing my ex-wife's family, sadly, mental illness seems to very much run in families, especially on the female side. Unfortunately they can also be extremely good at hiding it, so one day - I was shocked to hear that female Cousin #1 & #2 (25 & 28 yrs old) are both having literal breakdowns on the cusp of needing hospitalisation because cheeto-man got elected in America. We're all Aussies - but apparently my joke "just don't vote for him next time" didn't go down well at all. Lots more, but I'm sure you've seen this yourselves. Sometimes I thank God ex-wife & I weren't able to have kids. If we'd had daughters . . . sheesh.
