In spite of myself I liked the first Avatar movie
even in spite of the woke theme.
Never bothered with the sequels because I hear they’re even worse.
I have a problem with hating my heritage and
ancestors because the jews in Hollywood think I should.
That, and I’ve heard all about the
nauseating platitudes about “indigenous peoples”
and the revisionist histories they spew.
REV'R'ND! I've about had it with the LIES of "native Americans" being the world's only perfect people as well, Glen. They were outnumbered and outgunned. They traded their women for horses. They were too busy fighting AMONGST each other to mount any kind of unified defense against the Europeans. They were conquered. End of story, as it's been the end of story for EVERY civilization in their position...
ReplyDeleteI watched the first Avatar movie. It was good. I didn't bother with the rest of them because I knew what was coming...
Col. Quaritch is awesome! He reminds me of a CO I had years back when I wore relish, part time.

That is the way all such conversations should end…ππ
DeleteI too liked the first one, in spite of woke themes. TBH I didn't really think much on the whole indigenous people thing but enjoyed it because we like to root for the underdog and against the oppressor. Just like we were in 1775. Could have written a story same background world but with the natives outnumbering some poor stranded human settlers trying to survive against the planet and natives. Would have rooted for the settler underdogs in that case.
ReplyDeleteTechnology should be an assist, not the master. Conquering others isn't in God's plan, that's on us. That karma will come to haunt us, mankind.
ReplyDeleteI have a clear conscious, I'll die just fine (unless I die dealing with (((Them))). That would probably suck.
I personally think we are facing a cultural suicide, Mike. We’re doing this to ourselves.
DeleteExactly: When failure is *not* an option, computers should provide telemetry, not control.
Delete"We" aren't committing suicide, (((They))) are killing Western Civ...and us.
DeleteRarely do people that have been "managed" for life, by Dot. gov, regulated schools and Mainstream Media, ever see the Overton Window of our manipulated, delusional, bubble.

ReplyDeleteReplace the Indians in Dances with Wolves with blue monkeys and it’s basically the same movie. Visually okay, but I still think the shark in Jaws or the alien in The Thing remake look better and scarier than most CGI creations (because even though they were rubber and mechanical, my brain was still able to make the leap it was a real thing - for some reason I can’t get there with CGI, no matter how good).

ReplyDeleteI vote for humanity on this one cause I got no fondness for blue tree niggers.
