I guess Tiny’s hemmming and hawwwing about a potential new pocket pistol, among other things. Hrrrrmmmmm.
I guess he likes it…? If I’m not mistaken JL shoots a full size variant and likes it. They must be “turds of a feather”!!! HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!!! 😂👍
Maybe I am just envious, bitter and twisted because I couldn’t shoot mine for shit. Size wise, my 59 was a compact a tad larger than the one in the pic and had a bobbed hammer and a fairly decent trigger. It was the first center fire pistol I ever owned. Back then St. Cooper was still alive, IPSC was the game of the day and I traded mine off on a 1911 - and never looked back. But I don’t run n’ gun, I don’t carry for social work…I’m just a gun club duffer. I punch paper and plink at cans occasionally…so serious guns are out of my wheelhouse. But…ughhh. I sure like those little PPKs. From what I’ve heard the are rude little guns to shoot.
I suppose I’d probly just get a little shithouse 9mm plastic fantastic… but it would be nice to carry something with more character.
LOL.
ReplyDelete'Forced to like it' would be a better description. The 5946 is a larger (DAO) version of this particular pocket blastet, but still manages to be prohibited in Canada due to barrel length.
I dunno...it's not a total piece of shit. It's accurate and well balanced. But it's heavy and the magazine disconnect feature is a terrible idea. Not sure if BCE's piece has that particular feature.
If I had the option, I'd rock my sig sauer any day of the week.
My brother, California Dave, has a PPK. I've shot it, and it whacks your hand a good one. I've got a FEG PA-63 in 9X18 (.380 on steroids) double action automatic with an extra magazine in the glove compartment of my car. My choice for concealed carry is a Ruger LCP II in .380 in a Sticky Holster.
ReplyDeleteThe PPK is a good choice for concealed carry, especially if you can shoot it. I'm marginal, but at ten feet or less I'll put the entire magazine in the meat.
