I'm not sure t-rex would be a good food source. If it was a predator it would likely have high levels of mercury, lead etc from its diet and if it was a scavenger it would likely have lots of parasites. That being said would it taste like chicken?
The T-Rex was supposed to be a predator, a carnivore of the first water. The truth is that it often ate carrion and rarely tried to eat anything close to its own size. It wanted easy pickings.
