Previously I wouldn’t give this clap trap the time of day. It’s the same hogwash Orca Winfrey used to spout on day time TV. It’s mostly spiritual claptrap, yet Orca’s audience thought she walked on water and hung on her every word.
I try to listen to women.
It’s tough sometimes.
I’m trying to figure out the message here? I could only make it through three quarters of it. Is she trying to rebrand the sigma male concept and apply it to women? Or is she trying to make the lonely old unwanted cat ladies feel good about themselves? Maybe a little bit of both?

Did not make to the end. It’s not a rebrand of sigma notions for women or trying to help to sooth other women. She is making herself feel better by rationalizing the feelings away. Dilute feelings in a slurry of clever, intellectual words; just keep talking. She is talking for herself. By the way. Wolves are pack animals. A lone wolf is not a fully successful wolf.

ReplyDeleteIf I was sitting across from her in a therapy session, I would be characterizing her as borderline psycho-effective personality, she does not keep eye contact and she looks upright to the left and downward to the right. So, she is confabulating and justifying her her delusion of being a lone wolf with some grand empath, being empathic is an ability to perceive, understand and internally share some vague sense of feeling where as a lone wolf would not be as empathic or even describe himself as caring for the feelings of another, hence why he is a lone wolf, he rejects all or most of social conventions and social emotions. What I have seen, most of the readers of your blog, Phil and my blog and a few others are not so much lone wolfs, but old wolfs that have become un-enamored with society and the chaos and blatant hypocrisy and deceit and corruption. We got older and don't play the bullshit games anymore. Solitude is a warm blanket to wrap yourself in. We don't live in that blanket, we do enjoy some social intercourse with like minded and intelligent people. As one commentator stated, word salad and I watched the whole clip, imagine having to listen for that better part of an hour or two? That was my world, was is the operational word. Now, I firmly believe people like that need a initial one year cloistered therapy session with Marine Drill Instructors at Twenty Nine Palms Marine Depot for coping and readjustment intervention, then be fully reanalyzed for further gentle instruction for another year before being allowed back into society.
