I feed my 60's era Daisy Model 25 (old style with 50 round posi-feed magazine) out of that box. They live on the front porch to shoo the dogs out of the garden and occasionally scare a bunny. Rocks or leaves in the driveway are subject to random victimization.
Pretty much the same for I. Now days, I have 2 grandsons & we each have matching Red Ryder BB rifles that see a lot of fun times on a frequent basis. It does this geezer good.
Yes, yellow cardboard cylinders with black caps or the plastic clear envelopes of Daisy Golden BBs were sold at our Mom N Pop convenience store. Magical years those were. I took them for granted.

ReplyDeleteI would have the little tubes, and refill them out of the milk carton. The little tubes fit in my pocket better.
ReplyDeleteI also used to carry a film container with pellets so I would have both kinds of ammo.
