There’s a lot of folks worried about our arsehole rulers setting off WW3. I’m personally not worried about it. Sure, They’re just peachy with killing an entire generation of Uke kids for absolutely nothing… if there’s enough money in it, maybe your kids as well. But they will never, ever, will they never risk their own skins or that of their own kids. If the nukes fly…nobody gets a pass, and the flames would consume us all.
If the missiles DID fly…and I somehow survived… I’d go to that fallout shelter and weld the friggin door shut right off the bat! Then I’d find the air intakes and either stop them up… or pour in a couple cans of Zyklon B…
I wonder sometimes, about these men and women at the top that will kill for money and power. What would happen if they finally DID get every last penny - and there was no more to take? What would they do then?

I hope you are correct. However, I keep thinking more and more often of that quote from the MIB movie "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it."
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that those who would be our rulers live in an echo chamber where everybody thinks the same and nobody is allowed to have an independent thought. I wouldn't be surprised to see them scurry off to a bunker just before launching nukes at Russia or China. We are talking about a group of people who have never had to live with the consequences of their poor choices or actions. I bet they haven't even thought about what they would do after they run out of supplies in their bunker. They probably think they will be able to just send a gofer down to the neighborhood market to restock their supplies.
