Escape And Evade

No to put too fine a point on it… but hell’s bells… this is typical of the reality of small drone warfare.

Well at least we are finally getting some decent footage of real crapcopter warfare. They’re still turd polishing that terror weapon as a battlefield game changer despite the obvious salient points: a heavily laden, slow moving soldier - evades 7 attempts to take him out by drone. Here, we see three of them. All near misses, all going off within a dozen feet of him, and none putting so much as a scratch on him. C’mon folks… ractictally speaking… there’s far better ways to kill people.

Ughhhh…😖

Update

They’re on the right track.
To drop bombs accurately the drones are going to be well within
shotgun range.
They need 10 gauge repeating shotties, stoked with magnum BB loads. Or have
all the squaddies carrying these single shot devices. Or a designated shotgun for the
squad.

Update 2:

A sitting duck Bradley, hit by an FPV drone…
“No significant damage…”

  1. So, crapcopters are out, but what about strategic dump-ballooning? https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/kim-jong-un-sends-hundreds-sht-filled-balloons-south-korea

  2. The Russians are allegedly training up one man per squad to shoot skeet, and arming him with a 12 gauge semi. Heavy turkey loads. I wonder if they have knock-off "Flite Control" wads?

  3. That's why the Russians modified their tanks to handle the drones. Because they're not a serious threat. If Putin takes it seriously, I trust his judgement. Israel seems to be taking them seriously too. Flying explosives. Grenades are thrown explosives. Are those a joke too? God bless you, but literally every military on the planet disagrees with you. Aesop is a jackass, who loves people who imprison and brutalize priests, but he's not totally wrong about this specific issue, imo.
