We rode on a much shorter bus and I sat beside General Aesop somewhere between the weirdos and the bad kids toward the back. The quality of the tards went straight downhill as you went from the front of our school bus to the back where BCE and JL hung out.
In '72 I was a senior and driving myself to school in a red, '65 Mustang cranking the 8-track and smoking a Camel......
ReplyDeleteWas that in a small block V8? You woulda been a god…π
DeleteIn '72 I was flunking college courses. Nobody told me that you could withdraw from a course, and I was clueless. Ever since, I've told every college kid that the most important date on the academic calendar is the last add/withdraw date of the term/semester.
ReplyDeleteAs for the bus, I got a janitor job when I was in high school at 5am just so that I wouldn't have to ride that damn bus. Payed minimum wage: $1.25 an hour in 1970.
That’s what I am making now! ππ
DeleteIn 1972 i started a nine month experiment of living in an oxygenated fluid. I don't remember much about it but i managed to escape in early 73.

Area 51 eh… did you know the earth was flat back then?
DeleteI got the reference Exile. A mere young punk you are.
DeleteShit Exile, you are a baby... and placental fluid is not oxygenated. You derived your oxygen supply from your mother through the placenta and your blood never mixed, there is a mechanism that transfers arterial blood through a membrane (same with venous blood) and also waste products. You do sip and pee the fluid and there is some faecal matter, so you do have that...
DeleteOh shit. Right over my head as usual…☹️
DeleteI'm the old guy at work but yes a babe among the seniors around here. I'm closer to Big country or JL i suspect than you or our host. Still not as spry as i was 30 years ago, but for now i still have all my original joints
