(The fags at blogger want me to enable a bunch of cookies in order to poast pics now. My Outlook account is demanding access to all my devices so I’m going to close it… but for some reason I can’t access it anymore. The fun never stops with Microsoft).
I dunno if I would comply or not. I’m looking at all those people lined up in the pic to be scalped… and I dunno what to think. I’d have partially complied, maybe?
I just wonder if there’s any real way to defend your wealth from govts. I know in China everyone thought bitcoin would end the govt monopoly on cash and credit. But the gooks just told the people that if they were caught using bitcoin - it was a one way ticket to the firing squad.
I dunno what a guy does…
Well, first off, never give up your gatts. If they come for you, take as many of them with you to the cross road to Valhalla, then when the next stack tries it with another freedom fighter they will wonder if this is the time they end up like the last set of thugs before them. Soon that pension and pool may not be worth the stretch! Anyhoo, an underground economy is where sanctuary exists so go there first. In my business I give all my clients the option to pay cash and evade the tax and it is overwhelmingly not in .govs favor. I make it my goal to fuck over the tax asshoes whenever possible.

YAY !!!
DeleteOh lord… if I were in a position to fuck the Canadian gubbimint over, Chutes…it’d be a done deal.
DeleteIf you have "registered'' gold, you comply. If nobody of consequence knows, ya keep it.
ReplyDeleteGood old commie FDR, forced you to turn it in at $25/oz. Then revalued government gold at $36/oz. Nice gig, if you can swing it.
I wonder how he didn’t get shot for that, Mike…😑
DeleteLead, brass & precious liquids. Gold is worth X number of fiatbux, same with silver. Things go sideways & who cares about gold or silver? I know I wouldn't take it, but I'll give ya a half pound of coffee for 20 rounds of .30-30. It's going to become a barter world.
ReplyDeleteIf you have any, why would you tell the world? If no one knows that you have any, what do you have to turn in?

That’s good advice…

ReplyDeleteI was listening to an interview between Catherine Austin Fitts and Silver Investment expert David Morgan a couple of weeks back. It was her opinion that Bitcoin was likely created (by 3 letter agencies or central banks) to get people to invest in a non tangible asset while the market riggers scooped up tangible assets like gold, silver, and land. My take is to get physical metals in your own possession. (M-Gab)
ReplyDeletePersonally I think crypto is simply intended to train millennials, Gen Reeeeeeeee!!! And Gen Alpha (?) to accept this system instead of cash. Shit, they are already locked permanently to their phones as it is. TOTAL control over monetary system via crypto is a govt wet dream. I have some - so I learn how to use it - and who knows- maybe it will be pay off in the short term - while the power grid still works. But I also have cash, precious metals, stocks and other tradable commodities. Don’t totally dismiss it out of hand guys.
DeleteBooze, Swiss Army knives, hell nuts and bolts could work. Something everyone recognizes as valuable without being too valuable. A steak dinner is a Swiss Army Huntsman and 35 bolts. Could work.
ReplyDeleteyou could take anybody's gold or silver w/ lead (or die trying)

ReplyDeleteSounds you’re screwed, Glen. If we were owned by filthy Muslims you could pay your jizyah [1] or you could convert and become one of Them, easy peasy. But we’re owned by people who don’t want you to convert, because it’s an ethnosupremacist cult with an overlay
of (extremely goofy) religion [2] overlaid on it. You just don’t qualify. One of their fingernails is worth more than your life. And mine for that matter. So you’ll never be accepted as one of Them. Sucks to be us.
[1] “If you want my jizyah you’ll have to felch it out of your father’s ass.”
[2] It sure as hell ain’t “just like Christianity only without Jesus”. Bozhemoi, but the more you learn about (Babylonian) Talmudic thought the weirder it gets.
I sometimes dream about what I’d do if I only had a few months to live… would I go on a killing spree? Who would I target?
DeleteThe list is too long…
Adding to my previous post - don’t dismiss crypto out of hand. Unless you want to get left behind. I remember computer guru Steve Gibson from GRC “mined” a bitcoin back when it first came out. He was thrilled but decided to hang on to it as he had a feeling it might take off one day. I remember the internet coming in and I scoffed. We were forever getting viruses, worms, and hacked. They said it was the future ! I laughed out loud that was utter crap. Who’s laughing now? Within 5 years my business was seriously damaged by online stores. Within 8 years my business was dead as a door nail. 20 years of my life destroyed by the internet because I couldn’t work out how to make my model adapt.
ReplyDeleteI see this in much the same way.
Don’t risk a cent you can’t afford to lose, but don’t dismiss it. Right at this time, it’s deeply flawed. Now AI is here too. Opportunity is all around us, and if you don’t engage or test it out - you WILL be left in the dustbin of history. Or Herstory, if you work for govt.
You would be amazed (or maybe not) at the amount of U.S. Gold coins that ended up in Swiss vaults when Frank the Cripple pulled that slimy trick.
