Fergie: RIP

I’m still trying to process it. It was a hit and run. I got it all on the cell vid. I put it below the fold. Animal lovers and women folk - you want to give this one a pass. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Warning - it’s graphic…

HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!!!
Poor Fergie!!!

HAR HAR HAR!

Okay…alright, already! No, that wasn’t Terd Ferguson in the vid. I think it was a rat? We don’t get rats in Alberta - other than Fergie, that is. And technically speaking he isn’t a rat. Yesterday we went to Pookey’s and kitted him out with a close quarters combat harness. It was the second smallest one in the store.

If the Nipper ever runs into a squirrel…
he’s dead meat.

The li’l nipper thinks it’s great and loves it. I asked the counter clerk if we could get some hamster sized guns and grenades but I guess they ran out of Glock 9mm’s and won’t get anymore till next Thursday.

The little bugger stopped my heart the other day when he ventured a little too close to an open sewer grate up on the corner. I kept him well clear of it but I think if that he ever were to fall in … we’d be better off with him in a harness rather than a collar.

  1. yeah. a harness is better for pups and dogs that will bolt at the first sign of "something" or anything they can chase.
much safer than a collar for sure. lost a good dog many years ago due to a loose collar on him. haven't made that mistake since. and that was well over 50 years ago now.
