Geezers Being Geezers

 

The FAFO principle is built into the human animal at the genetic level and is what has made us the dominant species on this planet. This is how we learn not to whiz on  electric fences, poop in the fish tank and wipe our bungs on the drapes. We modify our behaviour to avoid the pain that goes along with bad or lethal decisions.

Retards lack the FAFO gene set. Some subhumans live in artificial environments where the FA gene can run rampant but the FO gene is bypassed. Like retards, they are protected from the consequences of their actions by money, maybe isolation, or their community closes around them and they bear the consequences as a group.

I think when you get older the FAFO mechanism gives out too. Awhile back I watched ol’ Rob flipping out about Blumpf: The big bad orange man was going to blow up the world, he was going to raise a fourth Reich, he was gonna burn the country down, blah blah blah. People in the crowd started to laugh and heckle and poor Rob lost his shit. He started telling people to FOAD and would have shouted angrily at the clouds… but his security people hushed him up and hustled him away from the people and cameras. 

The guy’s always been a dumbass. But I think I can see the signs of age catching up with him, maybe? I saw the same thing with my in-laws, only I didn’t understand it at the time. To me they were just being assholes the way they always were. When the consequences of their meddling and fuckery in our affairs came back to them… they stared blankly back at me, then stupidly at each other - and wondered how it happened. If I told them that action A obviously carried consequence B… they’d dismiss me as being stupid and mean. They live in a reality completely different from mine. Add to that: old folks at the end of their lives often get bitter, selfish and childish. I dunno how to deal with any of this. 

I fear for myself too. One day my brain will be as rotted out as Rob’s is - it happens to all of us. I don’t want to put anyone through that with me.
