SKS not banned yet, a panel of anonymous 'experts' sat down with gun control groups and RCMP who all recommend it be banned. The gov't buried the report for a year because its bad optics as somewhere over 80% of SKS rifles in Canada are owned by first nations members. A ban would be spun as disarming natives who need the rifles to feed their families. I predict an eventual carve out for natives to own but not white people.
I think what’s going to happen is it’ll get caught up in the courts, nothing will get done, and at some point the conservatives will get in and quietly shit can the gun grabs…
