  1. An attached garage is considered as part and parcel of a domicile. Ergo, any unauthorized persons therein are subject to all established laws regarding castle doctrine. 6 persons feloniously entering an occupied domicile constitutes a home invasion, and also meets the definition of a threat of overwhelming force.
With only the provided information, any reasonably competent legal aid can make the DA demonstrate how much of a waste of tax revenue they are. Follow on with a civil suit, and see how the money goes.

    1. A report I read and a news story both stated the garage was detached. Castle Doctrine is about duty to retreat. Taking a life in the protection of property is most likely going to lead to prosecution. If you’re unclear on the law either talk with an attorney or your local law enforcement agency.

    2. Bullshit. "Castle Doctrine" is about protecting what's yours. Break into my detached shop and I will do my best to "stop" you from threatening my family and/or stealing my stuff. Don't want to get shot, don't commit crimes.

    3. Well Max you would be wise to read up on the law for your state. Or don’t. With your attitude you should keep a lawyer’s number in your phone.
