I live under a rock in Geek Forest so I am usually not privy to the conversations the cool kids are having. I've been seeing the memes on Blab about this and wondering what it was about but was too lazy to get off my arse to get into the ins and outs of the fights that the mean girls are embroiled in.
This beardo keeps popping up on my OyTube feed and doing the drudgery for me. Apparently Sydney has been marked for destruction by the fat ugly women of the innernet and I can see why. They are offended by beauty and common sense. They are insanely jealous of women that are popular with the men too.
It IS fascinating though, isn't it? I generally don't read women well but if ya look hard... I think these women hate each other. They talk in silky tones.
Sidney is not just a pretty face either. The greasy cankle feints and attacks, Syd deflects and parries - and ends up with her figurative blade at the shrew's throat. But she doesn't drive it home - she doesn't have to. She's a smart cookie away from the cameras and apparently can twist a wrench with the best of them.
Hopefully this marks the end of the reign of the fat, ugly unhappy women of the innernet.
The thing is, Sweeney isn't a beautiful woman. She's not unattractive, but she's not gorgeous (at least, to my tastes). She does, however, have a hell of a body, and she's not insane. The last counts for a great deal.

I've heard the kool kids on the interwebs call Sweeney "derpy" and it's kind of true. But there's very clearly a keen intellect behind those derpy eyes.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right that these women detest each other - slowed down like that the micro expressions give it away. Sweeney's expression seems to be "bitch-please, as if I'm going to say what you want me to say" all the way through. Clearly she's had extensive media training, and has been coached on how to deflect with class, which she does all the way through that brief interview.
HOWEVER - the takeaway for me is no wonder women have so much power over simps. If this was a date with a regular man, the "journo" would be manipulating the simp like a good little boy - he'd be providing clear, logical answers to her set-up questions, hoping to charm his way into her pants. Women are social super-predators, and access to their tingling Bermuda triangle is the source of their power.
The other thing that stands out is the level of vocal fry in both of their voices - especially the "journo". She still has some of the "up-speak", but it has been toned down a bit. Sweeney doesn't have much of it thank God.
