  1. Would have been handy on the Camino last year . . .
About the only things missing are a screw on Taser function and a "powerhead" adaptor for taking out sharks with your choice of either a 12 gauge shell or a 357 magnum cartridge while spearfishing.

    1. Ooo - a 'bang stick' version would be cool.

Red's suggestion below sounds good to me too. I keep a sewing bobbin of G.I. trip wire (dollar store version probably would be okay too) in my wallet, attached to a small multi-tool. I also Gorilla glued a spark rod in the center of another bobbin with same wire. Now we have a handle. I also glued a Chicago screw female rivet half to another bobbin and piercing the side of a Leatherman sheath with the male rivet, allows me to attach to side of sheath. Need to check every now and again it stays snug or can become lost.

  2. So, the hollow handle '80's survival knife has growed up. It does give me some ideas, though.
Honestly, a good straight enough stick with about 20 feet of high strength nylon bank line, and a good knife should be sufficient. I'll stop before I get all preachie.
