Ughhhh. Old Joe (not ERJ - this Joe is ours) - is doing the speechin at the little chapel out in the country. He is the most unmotivated, uninspired, un-interesting man I’ve ever had to listen to. He’s also a bit of an a-hole too. He gets up behind the lectern - and starts to read. My eyes glaze over, and next thing ya know I’m chitting my pants in fright because I fell asleep and the wife’s elbowing me in the ribs to wake up.
I’m playing hookey today. The least the guy could do is at least TRY to be an interesting speaker…
