Well! Will you look at the arse end on that!!!
It could be a fake, but I’ve heard of gearheads actually doing V8 custom builds. I like big butts bikes myself. The biggest bikes out there typically tend to be around 1800cc. Big Red - my bike - is 1700cc. I think Triumph has a 2200cc but they aren’t common. There might be a few others.
So… let’s say the gearheads put a small block 289 in that just for the sake of arguMINT. Doing the mathayamagic… that comes out to 4736cc!!!
The more I look at it the more I think it’s just AI slop.

Never seen a Boss Hoss?!?
ReplyDeleteAI? Ya Think??? Duh.
ReplyDeleteI've seen more than a few big bikes. Seems there was a chopper fad recently where they'd put a big truck tire on the back of a V-Twin hog with loud pipes. Really smart, take an awkward hard to control bike and add a tire that makes it all but impossible to turn.
I'm more mid-range myself, never needed much more than 750 cc, although I'm riding an 1100 right now. Still only makes ~90 hp, air cooled, so not the speed demon you'd think with 1100 cc's. One day I may graduate to a Gold Wing, until then I'll stick with something I can more easily control. When the big dogs get let out, I'll stay on the porch, thank you very much.
Ughhhh... suppose I am a little slow on the uptake here, maybe. Thing is - I have just seen too many ludicrous customs and ridiculous one-offs. Some of it is art... but most of it is just... crap.
DeleteI watched maybe 2 episodes of that stupid American Chopper. The old man was gonna go for a ride on one of the ridiculous bikes, he could barely get the bike going and was wobbly as hell. All art, absolutely no rideability. I'm surprised he didn't drop it in the driveway.
DeletePretty sure AI as the focals are wrong for a picture. I also doubt a bike needs 6 bottles of nitrous oxide on it.

There have been a few automotive V8 powered customs. I remember seeing a pic of a drag bike in the '60s with a transverse mounted Chevy small block. If you have a shedload of money you can order one of these.

And here I am wondering if her ass is big as that tire and her coochy is as broad as that tailpipe...
ReplyDeleteMy first thought as well
DeleteI've seen Boss Hosses up close and personal. IMHO, too many little details that are right to be AI. Don't know about the pipe, but my guess is that it belongs to a member of the More $ Than Brains M/C
ReplyDeleteI test rode a Boss Hoss at Daytona some years ago. Chevy 350, 2 speed automatic. Spank that thing and it would get up and jump. Fastest motorcycle I ever rode. The exhaust manifolds were right where my inner calves should have been. I had to spread my knees way out in order to prevent being burned. Really uncomfortable. For an 1100 lb bike it was surprisingly stable at 2 mph. Interesting/fun bike to ride, I wouldn't want to own one.
ReplyDeleteThe pipe is fake but the rest of the bike is real. I saw that pic years ago.
