I never really saw Jimmy Kimmel. I’d seen enough of Colbert to know he had nothing worth saying but other than that…my filters and algorithms tend to be pretty good at filtering guys like that out for me. I used to worry about such things. That the tech will filter out the real news that I need to hear in order to make an informed opinion.
But for me personally, the filters seem to be catching ALL the crap. I never really watched Ben Shapiro either. Or Candace Whatsername, or Matt Walsh or Charlie Kirk. Granted, they may be mainstream pundits on my side of the political spectrum… but they’re still mainstream. They’re just as much paid actors as Jimmy Kimmel or Colbert, and probably just as stupid. Establishment finger puppets that are themselves filters and algorithms at best. You’ll never hear an honest word about jewish doings in the Gaza from Ben Shapiro. Or the problems caused by jewish perfidy, corruption and donors in American politics. The various finger puppets of Conservative Inc bore me and quite frankly… some annoy me.

The problem stems from our ADHD culture. You can spend hours scrolling through sites that mimic your beliefs, but the real challenge is discernment and willingness to go further to test, every day, those beliefs against objective reality. People don't make time for thinking and so soundbite morons like Kimmel and Colbert and the insipid Stewart hold sway with their sheep and seal audiences.

Yes that is a professional opinion. Take it from somebody who was diagnosed at age 12 as "Hannibal Lecter as God's fucking redneck". Yes one of these cluster b fuckers told me that to my face.
DeleteI have limited trust in people, as they are as hopelessly flawed as I am. Trump? Kirk? I agree with most of what they do/did or say/said. There are things I disagree with them on though, and I'll be the first to say so. I put my trust in God, and what my five senses are telling me at any given moment.

The First Amendment applies to EVERYONE in the USA. That being said, the MSM is trying to turn Kimmel into a 1A martyr. Kimmel was employed at the pleasure of ABC/Disney. For whatever reason, he became a financial or ethical liability, so they pulled the plug on him. Charlie Kirk WAS NOT employed at the pleasure of the guy who shot him dead. HUGE DIFFERENCE! The folks who danced in the streets upon hearing of his death are too braindead to realize that by condoning Kirk's assassination they painted targets on their own backs for someone's future use.
Simply put, if you don't like the talk, argue the point, walk away, or change the channel...
This is fake and gay. The only reason Kimmel's been put on ice (he hasn't been fired) is because it's now politically fashionable. Three years ago, nobody would have batted an eye if he had said what he said then.
