I was always a Craftsman guy cause a) they were affordable, b) they used to be American, and c) they had a pretty tight 100% replacement of broken tools policy. I remember going back to Sears several times and no questions asked, here's a brand new one.
Just on a fucking whim, I thought to myself why not get some genuine Snap-On tools, maybe a screwdriver set or something. Then I saw the prices and no-way-Jose! They can fuck right off for trying to charge $100+ for a fucking screwdriver. Damn.
Good news is that Lowes now sells the Craftsman brand tools and they are trying to bring back production to USA.
That looks like a "Snap-right-Off" tool.
