For me… I look around for anything else I gotta do while I’m down there picking up what I dropped!
It’s the same with the bloody stairs: if I’m going down to the dungeon I look around for anything else that’s gotta go down there so I don’t have to make extra trips up and down the bloody stairs. But when I get down there I forget why I went down there in the first place and have to come back up to try and remind myself… but I may as well bring some chit up, while I’m down there… and by the time I I get back up I forgot what I came up for!
I have the attention span and cognition of a bloody carrot these days…π

The debasement of our currency is so complete that it is not financially viable for me to bother picking up the copper-washed small coins I drop from time to time.
ReplyDeletedon't feel like the lone ranger bro. i have a plan for every move i make now.
ReplyDeleteI installed a stairlift. It doubles as a dumb waiter. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing any better. It hurts to get up, climbing the stairs is hard work, descending the stairs triggers a fear of falling, and last time I was at the range I cut the visit short due to arthritis.
ReplyDeleteDamn that sucks! Don't commit hari kari, they have good drugs so you don't care.
DeleteWalk backwards on the stairs while holding the hand railings. You do need hand rails for this. It works for me. If you miss a step you fall up the stairs instead of down them. Plus, you can see your feet when you descend.
