Welp… looks like the good guys won again! Turns out the perp was white, heterosexual, with normal parents. Pop’s in law enforcement, Mom’s a social worker. Junior was just a random kid who picked up a gun and turned evil because of it. And happily - li’l Ben Shapiro will now be carrying the football for Charlie - without those icky antisemitic undertones that were starting to crop up in his work. Good job, everyone!

I wonder if dad ever taught him to shoot. I've been casually working on my shooting for decades. Anything with a pulse at 80 yards is most likely gonna walk away if I take a shot at it. A 200 yard shot, no practice, just set up, pull the trigger and hit the target? That is not a casual, occasional shooter. He's been putting rounds through that rifle regularly

200 yards with a decent rifle is an easy shot with iron sights, much less a scope.
DeleteFrom an inclined position? Under incredible psychological duress? It’s not impossible for a real rifleman but even prone.. it is a challenging shot. At my rod and gun club, 85% of the guys (or more) shoot off the bench and that’s it.
