We had Bazooka Joe round here when I was a kid. But my preferred brand was 
Fleer Dubble Bubble. The comics inside the wrapper featured an odd little kid named
“Pud”.

I think I saw mega-cartons of it at Costco just a few years ago.
Ya loaded up ya pockets with gum in the morn, grabbed your baseball mitt
and your BB gun… and you were good to go for the day.

    I remember saving the wrappers and sending them in for prizes. I got a camera that used black and white film on a roll (no film cartridges yet), had no flash, but it worked!
