Filthie’s Log Of Ease
Old Mannlicher, saw one at a gun show years ago.- WDS
My best guess is that it's a Chinese copy of a Mauser Broom handle carbine. Ejection port and general design suggests pistol carbine. Not sure if the white looking "bolt" handle is added on or what?Such hunting rifles were popular in that era, pre-Mao.
That's a German Mannlicher Model 1901 carbine.
That might be a Henry AR-7 .22 that's been modified. The trigger guard is partially cut away to allow the shooter to wear a mitten or heavy glove.
Looks like a semiauto pistol that's been turned into a carbine. Maybe a broomhandle Mauser.
Looked it up. I was close. https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/85/1427/mannlicher-model-1901-semiautomatic-pistolcarbine
It looks like a c96 mauser rifle conversion. If it is, the gunsmith really choped it up to make that style of stock fit.
