Camping With Cederq

Well that’s pretty much it for summer around here, I’m afraid. It’s still green… but the grass has pretty much stopped growing. It’s chilly in the morning. In another couple weeks the leaves will start to fly. The summers are too short…

  1. Y’all are getting there quick. We have some leaves falling off down here in south west TN ,but they probably giving up on account of the 200 degree temperature!! lol I could stand some of that chill you have.

  2. In western middle Tennessee, we have tulip poplars that started dropping yellow leaves, a couple weeks back.
Looks like a drop hitch. Turn it over, reinstall the ball on the new up, AT LEAST!

    1. We only have regular poplars around here and they’re just weird. I was seeing patches of golden fall leaves around as far back as 3 weeks ago… what’s up with that I wonder…?

    2. They're short lived, junk, softwood trees around here, but with big, pretty, tulip like blossoms.

  3. That car is looking at a burned up differential and maybe bearings.

We're still hot as a two dollar pistol in Columbus, Ohio.

    1. I would but then I’d have worry about Tiny coming by and lighting me up with a 9mm because of all the rotten things I’ve said about him…😞

  5. I am thinking the same about our winters here in Australia. Waaaay too short these days, but maybe I'm just getting old. Tempus fugit, memento mori as some ed-you-mer-kated person once said.

    1. Oh gawd - I dunno which is worse: the heat you guys get, or the cold winters here…!

  6. At least there isn't any yard work in the winter.
