  3. And that set is as usable now as on the day it was made. I have a Snap-On 1/2" ratchet that I bought at a yard sale for a couple of bucks about ten years ago. It looks a lot like the one in the pic. Even though I've got a couple of newer half-inchers, that old Snap-On is STILL my go-to when I need a ratchet chambered in that caliber. It has fewer "clicks" per revolution, but that means the teeth and the pawl are bigger and deeper, and less prone to failure if the "cheater bar" is brought into play.

    I like the spring handles on that box!
