For me Friday was the day to pour on the coal. The customers would be going nuts trying to resolve their fires before going off for the weekend and it didn’t bother me one bit. I usually ended up working late but my days went fast and the hard work made the weekend sooo much better. For awhile I had 3 key accounts that could be guaranteed to call me at quarter after four on Friday afternoon with last minute demands. I founded a group and elected myself president: Friday’s F-tards. Anyone working overtime on Friday was automatically a member of my organization. Most of them got a hoot out of it but there were a few who were not the types to appreciate such humour.
I hope your day is fast and short and that good things are on the schedule for you this weekend.

I worked with a guy who would find a problem at 8 in the morning, ignore it all day, then make a giant deal out of it around 3 pm, saying we can't leave until it's fixed. After ALL of us stayed late and finally fixed it around 6 or 7, he'd report to management and take credit for it. Me and him butted heads more than once. However come Friday he'd never pull that shit since he wanted out early to start the weekend. He was strictly Monday thru Thursday with that shit.
