Tell us about your camper please ! Getting into long distance outback travelling and the wife wants a fricking caravan. I always camp or stay in an old pub - lots cheaper than spending big money on a van and way less stressful than towing a van over shitty outback roads.
The wife has found these small single axle camper style vans that are big enough to have a double bed & a kitchen, and about $20,000 AUD second hand. How do you find yours? Are they worth it?
The thing is with a big camper and especially with a 5th wheel, you need a BIG truck to haul all of that weight (I know, I own a 30 foot RV). If it's for camping for a short time do you really need basically a house on wheels ?
If you are living in for long periods I get it but for camping an A frame or pop up is nice and can be pulled by a regular car or small truck.
Are you molesting that tablet? In a A frame camper to boot, be a real man, get a proper camper or 5th wheel...
