Welp…he’s not all wrong. A lot a the churches ARE corrupt and no longer teach the word of God. Nor does it defend the oppressed. I’ve heard the Catholics say the papacy’s been stolen… so… why the hell not? We’ve had filthy jews proposing to edit the New TestaMINT for us to take out all that icky antisemitism stuff…
Looks like I’m going to have to re-familiarize myself with Arab culture…

ReplyDeleteThere's nothing antisemitic in he Bible. Jesus was strung up by His own people. This, after calling out the Jewish authorities on their hypocrisy. This, after doing exactly what the prophets and the rabbis SAID He'd do when He came. 'Nope; no antisemitism... Just TRUTH...
I tell people "I'm Catholic. I wish my church still was." I think the piece of work that just vacated "Peter's Throne" did more to empty Catholic churches than any other in recent history.
I think you did the right thing in walking away, Pete. We have a few ex-Catholics out at our little chapel out in the country and one of them hates the Vatican with the heat of 1000 suns. I guess at one point he was in school to become a catholic cleric but he walked away like you did… and his family disowned him…
