Ordinarily I tell all the self-proclaimed speech and grammar police to go sod themselves on general principles. But it does bring up semantic paradoxes in Hate Theory mechanics. Is it worse to be queer or a member of the ATF?
In the real world they both suck cack and should be hated and despised… and possibly horsewhipped, tarred and feathered as well…
Might be a generational thing. My oldest (born 1991) and his friends all called stupid stuff "gay". Also anything they didn't like was gay too. As in,

Nothing homophobic, just slang of the time. Took years for him to break that habit.
To paraphrase an old comment "I'd rather my sister be a prostitute than an ATF agent".
