On the BBQ

And pineapple goes on the pizza…

  1. Salt, pepper, smoke.
If your brisket needs sauce, your doing it wrong.
In general, I'm in the "No" camp regarding beans in chili but not a deal breaker.

  2. Beans go into chili! No beans, just meat soup...

    1. Roger that!
I always taste brisket, ribs or pulled pork without it, but the right bbq sauce is an enhancement.

  3. I'm ok either way as far as bbq as long as meat is cooked properly. I use red beans in my venison chili. And pineapple on pizza... ah fuck no, no way no how. That's fake & gay.

  5. BBQ either way, but it cracks me up when you yankees put beans in your stew and call it chili. Y'all add 'maters, 'taters, celery, all kinds of gay-ass stuff! Meat, chilis, spices... all one needs for a proper bowl of red!

  6. Chili was concocted by poor people. Poor people eat beans. Just be glad it's not tripe like put in menudo. That some rubbery, nasty-assed shit. Menudo is great without the tripas.

    1. First off everyone, it is "chile" NOT "chili!!! Chile was not made by poor people, it is "chile con carne" OR "chile verde". Mexican food. Delicious Mexican food! Proper chile HAS NO DAMN BEANS! EVER! Con cane is red sauce with beef, verde is green sauce usually pork. If you insist on beans, make up some.charro or refried beans and add them to the burro when you eat you proper chile. Sorry for the rant but this is personal. And no, I am not from Texas, but Arizona.

  7. Cook chili in the skillet, beans in the pot, serve separate and allow the unwashed heathens to mix it if they must.

And BBQ on the side, only as needed.
