I don't know, Glen. I was sitting with a mixed group of friends, and the subject of husbands who help with housework came up. One woman explained that it took her ten years of hard work to get her husband to do his half, but he finally learned.
For my part I believe that the American male has become sissified. Not only will they not stand up for themselves, they refuse to take charge as the head of household, and take responsibility - for authority without responsibility is tyranny.
I blame commercial TV for most of it. People actually believe what they watch on TV; I've known better since I watched Leave It To Beaver and Ozzie & Harriet. Normal people don't live like this.
Muh Soggy Knees!
