I walked by the big negress statue earlier this week. It was early-ish in the AM so Times Square was not yet crowded, but no one was paying the statue much attention. That said, when it comes to big bronze females in NYC, I prefer this one. https://www.cavaliergalleries.com/exhibition/113/

Well, since tearing down statues has been designated "free speech" and "peaceful ( mostly ) protest" ................
They aren't saying that they replaced a statue of Thomas Jefferson to put up this monstrous statue of a hood rat.
