I was over at Art Sido’s where the fellas were pretty much agreed that it should be legal for men to beat their wives. I pooped in the comments and said nonsense - if your old lady is making you mad enough to swing at her… why in hell would ya marry her? If you have a shrew like that in your midst - get rid of her, no matter the cost.
Similarly, when women are behaving like this - be somewhere else. If you’re not careful you’ll get sucked into their hysteria. It isn’t worth it.
Agreed - absence of body beats presence of mind every single time.

DeleteThe thing is though.... back in the days of yore when it was not only acceptable but EXPECTED that a female be "corrected" in such a manner.... this sort of behavior, these outbursts... NEVER HAPPENED... or if they did, there were accusations of possession, witchcraft or even mental illness made and dealt with accordingly.

Tongue in cheek of course... but thinking on it, now, I'm not so sure.
It's "never hit a LADY", but remember that not all women are ladies. That she-beast was not in any definition a "lady". I missed Art's discussion apparently, but I agree with Anon above, back in the day when men would beat their wives, this type of shit didn't happen. Same with the 2G's, back when lynching was a thing the 2G population was way more well behaved. Some people require the constant threat of punishment before they behave.

Don't disagree, that's why I'm currently camping and avoiding crowds. You wouldn't catch me dead at some protest event like that.
