But… I wonder about Harvard? I thought they were THEE epicentre of woke destruction? I think they imposed racial quotas to enrol more nogs and less orientals and whites, didn’t they? It’s funny - later in the day after reading that I went on Blab. Some little shit was in tears because I guess Blumpf’s team is reversing Creepy Joe’s student loan amnesty. All those stupid kids that took out loans have to pay them back now? But this kid was whining that eeeeevil boomers FORCED him to take out those loans and get a degree in nothing studies… and he shouldn’t have to pay. I rarely poost on Blab, preferring to lurk… but I told that little shit where to go and how to get there. I got ratioed and slaughtered in the angry replies but - I said what I said, and stand by it. YOU sign a loan agreement, YOU borrow the money… you pay it back. The kids were enraged. To me this stuff’s a no-brainer. If our universities are churning out turd-brained children like these … we really REALLY need to fix that.

ReplyDeleteBlab is a sewer and an intellectual and moral landfill, US. All social media sites are to some extent. I pretty much go for the rude jokes and memes, and scan the headlines. Getting the news from Blab is still better than the mainstream stuff.
DeleteTo be fair to the little idiots, they DON'T sign a loan agreement. They check a box on the Federal Student Aid form which simply says, "I would like to apply for aid." The form, by the way, is mandatory with your application packet. The loan is then paid directly from the government to the college/university. The kids see none of that. They don't get any sort of notification at all. Then they get a bill after graduation (or when they drop out) with "First payment due in 90 days."

I think extended education is about having a place to park young people because the economy and workplace aren’t ready to absorb them yet. It’s unfortunately not a solution and only a stopgap measure. Now it’s turning into a full blown bottleneck where nothing is working anymore…
