They aren't Dire Wolves. They are a made up version that scientists think look like Dire Wolves. Close enough, anyway.
As usual, the idiots in the lab aren't thinking. Ferinstanse, an African Zebra looks a lot like a pony or horse, right? So we ought to be able to catch a few and break 'em to ride, right?
Wrong.
It's been tried on several occasions, and the closest anyone has come was a noble Limey who caught a few as colts and spent every day training them. He could get them to pull a cart, but said he had to work with them every day without fail.
Jurassic Park, much? I'd get a compact velociraptor (6-8 ft, 6-800 lbs) and teach it to be the leader of the pack!
ReplyDeleteWhat could possibly go wrong?
They also have a slightly younger female dire wolf they plan to allow to be with the two males later this year. What could go wrong ...

So... Dire Wolves? No. Just plain old Hell No.
You know nothing Jon Snow. They are Dire Wolves, They are Silver like Ghost.
ReplyDeleteI really doubt these pups will grow up to be the giant monsters that terrorized Paleolithic North America. Next do Sabretooth cats.
