Can You Ever Fix This?

Most of the folks that poost here are blessed with strong families.

I don’t think you can fix this. I’m looking at the divisions in my family and even
if I could fix them… I don’t think I would.

  1. What’s with all the defeatist b.s. lately? First you can’t bothered to vote, now you give up on the family? You lose every battle you won’t fight. If we end feminism, marxism and remove our predatory, treasonous ruling class we can win. Never said it would be easy but it is a clear goal that is achievable. I get your family imploded, but rolling over and giving up while you wait to die is a miserable way to run out the clock.

    1. How old are you? There's a reason they say war is for young men. By the time you've lived through a self employed career or two, wrestled with the IRS and Dot Gov and suffered a debilitating injury or seven, your attitude for saving the world starts to lag, especially once you figure out how wretched people and institutions are.
The great awakening is a rather new thing, when I was in my fighting years '69-'09, I was still fairly clueless. Obummer was a real awakening for me, much more so than Clinton and the Bushes.
Now I've retreated to the hills of rural Tennessee, if they show up here, it's the tree esses. My pack of free range dogs will give me advance notice. As much as I love mine and most dogs, their Job One, is to buy me a precious few seconds to maybe minutes to arm up. That's it. I'll probably die at home, hopefully in my sleep, but if it's in a hail of bullets or starving or Covid 23, it is what it is. I'm ready to "cross over" the Rainbow Bridge, My extensive pack of formerly live dogs are waiting, some good humans too.
I can assist, do repairs and load for the running gunners. I can't run anymore, that might have something to do with being a 1951 model.
I'm sure your mileage will vary.

    2. I’m in my late 50’s and find defeatism toxic. Yeah sometimes you get knocked down and it takes a while to get back up but without a purpose and ideals to fight for you die quicker.

  2. You have a wife who loves you and sticks right with you, which is something I don't have. You have a nice dog and a set of outdoor skills that will see you through the next bank failure.
