That’s “Mount Everest” in the background.
For little crapcopters you get all the crazy updrafts and lenticular air masses
in micro-size to deal with.
It’s a retarded, foolish laff-riot for older “kids”.
To the microcrapcopter, this little pile of snow is the same challenge
that a real mountain would pose to a real pilot.
Nothing but blue skies do I see…
It was a scorchin’ +12C out there this morning so that means it’s crapcopter season again! I feel like I’m 10 years old again with those cheap balsa gliders we used to play with as kids!
Today I fired up my trusty quad copter and fearlessly buzzed Mount Everest - a 12 ft pile of snow they stacked up from the parking lot in front of the arena out in the country. Then some Canada geese violated my airspace so I buzzed them too just to show them exactly who has air superiority around here…and got hissed and spat at. Out of good sportsmanship I conceded the puddle to the pair and left them alone otherwise. They were content to leave us to our flying.
In your face, you feathered fat headed flying
crap factories!!!
🤬
I suppose I should be nice, right?
My trusty quad rotor flew just fine as I knew it would. This one here is called a “Y4”. It had two motors out front, and two more coaxially running on the rear arm… I love weird flying machines. This was the shakedown cruise for it and she’s flying just fine.
Flapz is really struggling with FPV. These homebuilt racers are nothing like the boring, programmable camera/hobby drones. They are faster, far more agile but demand much more of the RC pilot. I’d much prefer to be flying the big nitro powered RC planes out at Stubfart Airfield… but these tiny electrics are fun too. All you need is some secluded place where there’s no people or animals… and you can fly to your hearts’ content. A bag full a batteries, a jug full of coffee, and blue skies are all a fella needs to be king of the world…
Mr. Filthie- I don't know what the hell that thing is but it looks like it was sired by a pair of crocs to an unwilling participant thalidomide doper.
