We really are living in interesting times. As a Canadian I’m up here watching the clowns in our media laser-focused on our current unelected swine minister - Mark Carney. And of course, his Morontario finger-puppet: conservative premiere Doug Ford. When they start talking, farting noises come out and the BS starts to stink and I just want to turn them off and ignore them. But people are listening to them and getting riled right up.

But I’m not! The second this thing gets real, and profit margins and political polling start to plummet those morons will start to dance to the Orange Man’s tune. Money talks. It always has. Right now no one is listening, everyone is talking and I may as well just sit back and watch the antics of the dancing bubble gummers on Tik Tok. Whatever comes will come. If it’s t be adversity… so be it. Dealing with adversity requires a mindset that so many of us just don’t have anymore. I’ve been here before.

Maybe some of us need to refocus and re-evaluate priorities? One has to have a heart of stone not to laugh at the girls on Tik Tok but maybe they know something old goats like me - don’t? They obviously don’t know what tariffs are, what they mean, or the economic factors that drive them. They don’t want to know; all they want to do is dance and show off for their friends. You can learn a lot from kids. Dancing is free, it’s fun and it’s healthy. 

The thing for me is to focus on our priorities, keep my girls as happy as possible and leave the hysterics to others. It’s the little things in my little life that matter. I got chores to do, dawgs to walk, and we might finally start seeing some of the first spring weather today.

In the meantime I better sign up for Tik Tok - and learn how to dance! 😂👍 You lot better do the same cuz ya never know when a dramatic dance fight might break out!!!
