Hrmpfpfppfff! Never heard of it! Never seen one neither!
So if I understand this thing, ya take a 9mm class case - and neck it down to 22? I’ve actually read about this concept. 100 years ago some dude was in the gun rags because he took a 45 ACP case and necked that down to a 22 and used it to pot gophers in a XP-100 at a posh California golf course.
Apparently they’re still using it?
Think I’ll give this one a hard pass too…
Rock Island Armory, Philippines, came out some years ago with their version, a 9mm case, necked down to 5.56. It's ammo was brass jacketed. You could get the combo with a 9mm P barrel. It was a double stack, 1911. I think it was around $550 US at the time.
ReplyDeleteI had an "enhanced", 45, 1911, single stack of theirs about 5 years ago. Other than having to replace the front sight, because it shot too low, it was a great gun.
