Monday Afternoon Coffee 😑

It takes real determination…
but yes, you CAN screw up a simple coffee n’ campfire
if you have the right equipment and try hard enough…

  2. Wow! The only part they left out was the growing and harvesting!
I Grind my Costco beans in an herb grinder, then dump them in my Gevalia carafe ( that we got a million years ago, when we were first learning how to be coffee snobs) enough for a few days. Then it gets dumped into Mr. Coffee maker, from Wally World. Works great.

  3. I do a lot of remote area travel. Simple, reliable and easy is best. The millennials & “Ok-Zoomers” just lose their minds without Starlink internet, coffee machines, pie-ovens, fridge-freezers, pressurised hot showers, eco-composting solar toilets with holding tanks, on and on and on. Don’t forget 30 x GoPros to catch every angle…. Boy-o-boy do they bite HARD when you make fun of all the shit they need to go camping in the bush. They just drop their bundles without Apple Car Play !!!

  4. It used to be called car camping, as in you need a car to get all the shit in. Now the millenials call it glamping as in glamorous camping.

I have done car camping when the kids were small and i didn't want to hike in and out diapers. I will not do glamping.

  5. First, making coffee while the sun is already up? I call BS - I'm usually up hours before the sun. And that's way too many steps for first thing in the morning. I pre-set the drip machine the night before, then all I gotta do is turn it on. If you ain't got electricity, then set up the percolator and then throw it on the propane stove. That's plenty good with fewer steps. And oh yeah, my Coleman camp stove probably only cost a fraction of whatever he's using.
