Tripod is for 99% of hunters that can't hit a coyote at 100 yards and to see over stuff. A can is always a great blast reducer. Must protect the precious auras of guided hunters. Got to take care. Two days ago, I read an article about 'self loading firearms'. I assumed they meant semi-auto loading. Nope - pictured were lever and pump actions.
I'm ok with the p-mag in a lever, it's basically the only way to get pointy bullets in a lever action rifle. I believe it draws inspiration from the Browning BLR. As a lefty, 99.9% of the bolt rifles are in right handed config, so the only real ambidextrous options out there are pump and lever actions. If I really wanted a rifle shooting pointy bullets, that'd be one of my first choices. And yes, with a scope. Of course, at that point you're shooting ~2800 to 3000 fps, so not sure the silencer does anything good there. I really don't know what to say about the tripod, though.
