A Good One From Mike

One a the harder lessons I learned back in the Dream Times - when we were kings - was that you prepped for everything. This trick I learned from an old bush pilot. I had modified the battery tray on my Bombardier so I could pop the battery in and out faster than you can think about it… and I’d put that thing in fart sack to keep it warm at night. I watched my batteries like a hawk too. If I had an old dinosaur quad  like Mike does, I’d have some quick start fluid to squirt down the air box too. The final tip is that if you’re going to get any moisture…snow or rain…cover up your handlebars with plastic bags. I had all my controls iced up one morning because it had rained and snowed during the night and all the controls were thoroughly iced.

It’s overkill when you’re camping with friends but going solo is serious business. But… you do you I guess.
