Something like this might be perfect for an artsy-crafty project with the kids on those miserable, cold, short winter days when going outside is not in the cards. But I doubt the practicality of it…? Back when I was The Great Outdoorsman I had a fire-starting kit in my plunder… a waterproof tin with a Bic and some dry birch bark. I later put in some Vaseline soaked cotton swabs but never really needed them.
But… it’s a neat idea and a great way to keep little hands busy and occupied.
I would like to see it in normal, ie wind rain snow. Me thinks he would need the six pack to get a fire started

Kinda neat, but they gotta reek when that latex is burning.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you could unscrew a pair of scissors and get two of these.
ReplyDeleteThis comment should have been on the weird knife one.
