Every year about this time I used to swear up and down on a stack of bibles that I was finally going to do it this year!!! I was gonna march right down to the pharmacy and get the free seasonal flu shot… but… life always happened and I never did it.
Now… after Covid… no way am I ever going to get the flu shot! I don’t know what those assholes are putting into it, they lied through their teeth during the Covid fiasco so… fuck those guys. But my geriatric old mother is all over it. She’s getting the Covid boosters and flu shots and last we talked…she was having reactions to them with flu-like systems.
I just laughed at her. The stupid old bitch takes all these shots, gets sick from them…and then gets colds and flus later on just like everyone else does.
I ain’t taking ANY shots anymore that I don’t have to. The best defence against colds and flus that I have found is vitamin C. I take a couple others in a daily morning highball and every year I get a couple bad bouts of the plague… just like everyone else.
Just from memory of 80s through 2010s, every fall multiple someones at work gets the flu "and I got the shot". Useless fake waste of tax dollars. At best.
ReplyDeleteWorking a career in the medical field, I've had many "vaccines". The latest being the Shingrix to prevent Shingles. Now, after the Covid debacle, NO MORE. Period, end of story.
