Spectacular

Y’know I’m too old to still have a blade fetish… but sometimes one comes along that stirs the old longings. My hunting knives have always been folders that I’d strop up and carry in a pocket until needed. Often they doubled as camp knives because - why drag out your plunder and kit when you need a knife, when you have one right in your pocket? Those little EDC folders will do anything the stubfart sportsman could reasonably ask.

But.. just look at this little beut! Bayonet style blade with a false top edge just like those heart stopping big fighters - a little jimping for ya thumb if ya need it, the skull crusher/window breaker pommel, black pins…all in a package small enough to dress out a deer…  probably too short for a bushcraft or survival blade but just perfect for a well appointed spike camp…

Remember this in December when you’re wondering what to get old man Filthie for Christmas…

  1. Very nice knife, hell at 66 I am still weak kneed over a good blade! I would proudly wear that in a sheath on my belt!

  2. Youre never too old for blade lust, thats the unnatural satanic voices of harpies leading you into the Scylla and Charybdis, whispering you dont need another knife, its not your precious. Haha, I just ordered five new ones last night, two to hand out to my bruddas as barfday presents. I refuse to get smashed on the rocks. Rule no.1, always have a knife. Now go by a hawkbill or an emalgem and blow your money on that precious and enjoy it.

  3. That's one beautiful skinning blade. Should survive generations of abuse.
