Today’s theme is murdercycles! Today was my first ride of the season. Ol’ Big Red fired up like a champ after a long winter’s sleep. I rode to church with my iron horse covered in 6 months worth of dust. The ride and the church were both good for the soul. Sometime this week I need to drop the oil and spit shine the old beast. God willing, I intend to put some miles on this year.
Hopefully you are in the same boat? Maybe we’ll see ya out there…!
Heh!

#3, flat head (side valve)? Water cooled 2 stroke? Moto Honda? Looks cafe racery.
ReplyDelete#4, take yer truck, roll down the windows, stick yer head out occasionally till you get hit by a bug.
Down here in Texas there ain't much of a snow season. I try to ride my big Honda and least once or twice a month to keep the oil flowing and the battery charged. Been riding it a few days a week to work for the past month now. Runs just fine. People that park them for 6 months and then get upset when they won't start irritate me greatly, but they also list the bike for pennies and create a great used market for those of us who know how to hook up a battery charger and rebuild the carbs.
ReplyDeleteI was out ripping around most of Saturday on mine. Didn't eat any bugs either.
