I was listening to James Delingpole interview ex-fighter pilot Tim Davies last night. Fascinating just how dangerous ejection seats are. One of Tim's friends was killed by one while on the ground - when it was accidentally triggered (via a method no-one had foreseen), and then to top it off, the poor sod was accidentally thrown over 60 metres in the air - and then the bloody parachute didn't open . . . When your number's up I guess . . . .
